Heat Level
On a level of 1 - 5 with 5 being the highest level, this one ranks a solid 4. It is the spiciest one of them all because there is no salt. Cayenne peppers range from 30,000 to 50,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU) on the Scoville Scale. If you compare it to a jalapeno pepper, which averages around 5,000 SHU, cayenne peppers can be spicy.

Amount to Use
Because this version does not contain salt, start with 1/2 Tbsp. per pound of meat and season to taste.
