Kay's Cajun Seasoning's BFF is Kay's Cajun Salt-Free version. They're essentially the same, except this version contains salt. Think everyday seasoning: but with an extra kick. Heat Level
On a level of 1 - 5 with 5 being the highest level, this one ranks about a 3.2. Cayenne peppers range from 30,000 to 50,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU) on the Scoville Scale. If you compare it to a jalapeno pepper, which averages around 5,000 SHU, cayenne peppers can be spicy. Not to worry, the other spices and herbs balance the heat.
